Financial Policy

We believe in clear and open dialogue when it comes to all aspects of your treatment, including financial obligations for your endodontic care. Once your doctor has evaluated your tooth, you will be provided with an estimate for your treatment plan. Co-payments/payments are collected at the time of service and we will provide you with an estimate PRIOR to commencement of any treatment.

PATIENT BILLING

For your convenience we accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover and American Express. We deliver the finest care at the most reasonable cost to our patients, therefore payment is due at the time service. If you have questions regarding your account, please contact us. Many times, a simple telephone call will clear any misunderstandings.

Please remember you are fully responsible for all fees charged by this office regardless of your insurance coverage.

We will send you a monthly statement. Most insurance companies will respond within four to six weeks. Please call our office if your statement does not reflect your insurance payment within that time frame. Any remaining balance after your insurance has paid is your responsibility. Your prompt remittance is appreciated.

HEALTH INSURANCE

Endospecialists accepts most insurances and is an “in-network” provider in most plans. This means, our fees are typically covered at a higher percentage than if you are treated by an “out-of-network” provider. However, your policy with your insurance carrier is between you and your insurance company. We are committed to helping our patients maximize their dental benefits, and will take all necessary steps to contact your insurance company on your behalf to provide you with an accurate estimate of your copay.  Please be aware an estimate is just that. If you carrier pays less than estimated, we will send you a statement a few weeks after treatment and if they pay more than anticipated, you will receive a refund check a few weeks post treatment. Carriers can take 4-6 weeks and sometimes longer to pay a claim. We will make every effort to work with your insurance company and only send you an invoice for charges not covered by your plan.

You may receive informational statements or phone calls as we believe in complete transparency when it comes to discussing finances related to your endodontic care.

There are no guarantees of coverage provided by your insurance carriers during benefit-checks, so please keep in mind, you are responsible for all charges that are not covered, regardless of estimates given prior to treatment.
