Dr. Chalmers received his Bachelors degree in Biology at San Francisco State University and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific Dental School. His Certificate of Specialty in Endodontics is from the University of Southern Califorrnia School of Dentistry. Dr. Chalmers has served as an instructor in Endodontics at the University of The Pacific Dental School.

Dr. O'Callaghan was born in India, lived briefly in Africa and grew up in Australia. She had become an accomplished amateur tennis player and was recruited with athletic scholarships to play for colleges in Texas and Tennessee. She was accepted into the dental program at Howard University in Washington D.C. after her junior year at Memphis State University in 1993. Even while a student at Howard University, she continued to play and teach tennis. In 1998, Dr. O'Callaghan graduated having earned her Doctor of Dental Science degree.
She received her California license the same year and practiced general dentistry in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties before deciding to specialize in Endodontics.
Dr. O'Callaghan resumed her formal education at the University of Southern California by first enrolling in a residency program in 2000 for one year and then was accepted for specialization training in Endodontics. She received a Certificate in Endodontics from the USC School of Dentistry in 2003.
Dr. O'Callaghan is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Alameda Dental Society, the American Association of Endodontists and several other Bay Area dental groups. She is married and has two children named Janaki and Declan.

Dr. Joseph Schulz was born and raised in New Jersey. He attended Rutgers University (BA in 1966), Temple University, School of Dentistry (DDS in 1972) in Philadelphia and the Harvard University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. He earned his Certificate of Proficiency in June 1974 in the area of advanced studies in endodontics (root canal therapy) from both Harvard and the Forsyth Dental Research Center in Boston.
In July 1974, Dr. Schulz began teaching at the Arthur Dugoni School of Dentistry, University of the Pacific in San Francisco as an assistant professor in the department of endodontics. After passing the California Boards he spent less time teaching and more time practicing but continued to participate in part time teaching for over 20 years. He attained the title of associate professor in 1988. Dr. Schulz has been elected to two academic honor societies, has authored chapters in several textbooks and acted as consultant in the development of a computer aided learning program.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Alameda, Southern Alameda and Berkeley Societies, the American Association of Endodontists, the California Dental Association of Endodontists, and the Northern Academy of Endodontics. He has served as officer on the Alameda County Dental Society, Northern California Academy of Endodontics, and the California Association of Endodontics and has also been an active participant in the Peer Review Councils of these groups. He has served as an expert consultant to the State Dental Board and as expert witness in the legal arena.
Dr. Schulz is currently in full time practice in Oakland and Walnut Creek.
